Get Out the Vote (GOTV) 4 TEENS empowers students aged 16–17 by fostering civic engagement and facilitating accessible voter registration.

 

Our mission is to provide a distinctive platform for active participation in the democratic process, cultivating informed and engaged citizens who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their communities. Through focused efforts in civic education and voter registration assistance, we inspire a generation committed to contributing to the democratic fabric of society.

REGISTER TO VOTE

Teens aged 16 and 17 can pre-register to vote in Illinois! 

You must have an Illinois state ID or driver's license to pre-register and the last four digits of your social security number.

 

The pre-registration will go into effect automatically when you reach voting age.

UPCOMING ELECTION

17-year-olds can vote in the Illinois Primary Election on March 19, 2024 if they will turn 18 by the General Election on November 5, 2024.
